How to Clean and Maintain the Cutting Head? | Lino Laser
As the core component of the fiber laser cutting machine, the cutting head is a laser output device, which consists of nozzles, focusing lens and focus tracking system.
As the core component of the fiber laser cutting machine, the cutting head is a laser output device, which consists of nozzles, focusing lens and focus tracking system. In order to ensure the normal operation of the fiber cutting machine, it’s very important to clean and maintain the laser head. Next, Lino Laser will share with you some methods of cleaning the laser cutting head:
- Adjust the center screw
Adjust the laser to the center point of the nozzle. The adjustment method is to put transparent glue on the light outlet of the nozzle, then click and remove the transparent glue. (If the light is not in the center, the cutting will be unstable and have burrs)
- Dust cover
After the lower screw is loosened, the Z-axis can be lubricated.
- Z-axis upper limit function
After turning on the drive, the cutting head limiter will return to the upper limit position.
- Z-axis lower limit function
When the cutting head limit block approaches the lower limit position, it will quickly return to the upper limit position and return to the set position.
- Focus screw
Select the appropriate focus point according to the material thickness and cutting gas type.
- Lens drawer
There is a protective Lens and seal ring inside. The protective lens needs to be inspected and wiped clean every day before starting the cutting machine. The seal ring should be replaced every three months. If the sealing ring is lost, it will cause unstable cutting and the cutting head may not work.
Please note:
We usually use isopropyl alcohol or analytical ethanol to clean the lens. Please wear finger cots when handling the lens. Hold the edge of the lens, and wipe it in one direction with a cotton swab. Do not wipe back and forth repeatedly.
